All the information I have read doesn’t say anything about a center drain. Do we have to get a cover for it or something? Please help – this is our first year with this pool.

Don’t worry about the center drain …here are a few of the major points
Remove any debris from pool
Balance the pool water
Lower pool below the skimmer
Disconnect all the hoses and drain water from filter, pump {including impeller} and lines and anything that retains water
Remove pressure gage
Cover the pool so that leaves and other things cannot get in
It might be a good idea to Google for info on this, just so you cover all the bases.
