Can you put underground drainage into rainwater soil pipes? and what filters would i need to install?
i am puttin underground drainage into my claysoil as the water does not drain!
Unable to put a soakaway in as would be to close to the house.
It would be easier to connect into the rain water gully – But not sure if this is a soltuion or just goin to create a futher problem if it blocks up!

If you don’t have a place to put a soak away, you can direct the water into the rainwater drain. find a suitable place to break into it. You will need to put in a silt trap so that you don’t block your drain and, preferably, a rodding point so that the drains can be cleared if there is a problem in the future. Be sure it is the rainwater drain and not the sewage pipe! And check with your local council that it’s okay to divert excess water in this way.
if you are connecting to a storm drain (rainwater whatever country you live in ) and the drains are connected to a main drain then you have no problem ..in parts of the uk we can allso connect to the soil system providing you use a trapped gulley ..but you must never connect foul to the stormdrain
